Who is TalexMedical?
Born in 2015 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, our technology is a simple yet effective solution in the treatment of congenital ear deformities. Dr Scott Bartlett, Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at CHOP, after decades of clinical experience and research on infant ear anomalies, created TalexMedical, LLC to develop and bring to market InfantEar™ Non-surgical Ear Molding System – an innovative solution for the early treatment of newborn ear deformities.
Our mission is to improve the lives of patients and their families. Early intervention with InfantEar can not only help to prevent the psychological ill effects of living with a deformity, but prevent an unnecessary, often painful surgical procedure later in life. Headquartered in the greater Philadephia area, and originally funded by the Philadephia Pediatric Device Consortium (PPDC), TalexMedical has a team of clinical and business professionals that are focused on one thing – addressing the needs of you and your family.
